Great post! As someone who has heard you mention HIBT, 4HWW, and other inspirations in passing it’s cool to read your more in-depth thoughts on how they’ve influenced you.
Thanks for continually writing nice pieces for us to enjoy. I believe that by writing, you are also able to clear your thoughts and reasoning for your choices in life. Just wonder to what extent Stanford education and atmospere here shaped your thinking now.
Barbara Corcoran, Barre3, Bumble, DryBar, Edible Arrangements, Honest Tea, LaraBar, Kate Spade, and Southwest Airlines, to name a few. Oh and Ben and Jerry's. Unintentional that those are in alphabetical order. These are all concepts or services I've utilized and appreciated greatly, so hearing how much energy went into the development process is awesome. Also, I aspire to own an ice cream shop some day.
Great suggestions, I’ve listened to a lot of those already but there’s some good ones there I haven’t checked out yet so looking forward to that! If you have a farm with tons of animals, AND a farm to scoop ice cream shop, I will definitely be one of the first to visit. 🍧
Hey Michael, thanks for the kind words! The story behind choosing Paris is actually not that interesting haha: 1) worked with group of French students from Paris on a project with in school, so knew a few people there already, 2) international, non English speaking, place would force us to adapt to a radically different life (still first world so not too crazy, but still). In fact we only considered the one place...

hmm...sounds like a leading question 🤔 not sure if Stanford had too much of a direct impact actually! (see part 1 post)
Enjoyed reading it and getting a glimpse into the entrepreneurial world. My takeaway: Where there is a heart, there is the right sound to listen to.
sometimes, it's actually the sound that comes first!
Thanks for sharing these links! I LOVE HIBT - the energy and passion is invigorating.
Excited to read similarly passionate content from other resources and more of your blog posts too! -SG

Hey Denis!
Absolutely love your writing. Im also a techie tired of the Silicon Valley bubble going through Covid induced quarter life crisis here.
Would love you to know how/why you decided on Paris if you haven’t written about it already.
